The case involves Swati, a 34-year-old woman at 5 weeks gestation via IVF with no previous psychiatric history.
Clinical presentation
The patient experienced persistent anxiety, physiological restlessness, palpitations, poor sleep, irritability, and reduced concentration. Her diagnosis was Generalized Anxiety Disorder with somatic manifestations.

Treatment approach
The intervention combined transcranial direct current stimulation via the ease device with Cognitive-Emotional Training modules. Active anodal stimulation targeted the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex at 2 mA for 20-minute sessions across 10 treatments over 12 days.
The cognitive training incorporated four adaptive tasks addressing working memory, cognitive control, and response inhibition.
Outcomes
Post-treatment results demonstrated significant improvement: anxiety symptoms decreased by 53.8% while depression scores dropped 50.0%.
